Red Oak Run

Have you ever seen an “underground maze?” This maze is designed to give you the feeling that you are tunneling underground. There are actually places where you have to crawl to get through the maze. There's even a small tot slide.

If you get tired of looking at the soil, roots and insects underground, you can climb onto the rock scramble. On a warm day you can pick your favorite rock and just sit there for a while.

Don't miss the Tree House, it overlooks the Red Oak Run. The Treehouse was made by Gary Robinson of New Jersey. In the tree house, you can learn all about New Jersey's state tree, the Red Oak, and the animals and insects that live in trees. The Garden staff told me that over 500 animals can live in just one tree!
