Become A Volunteer
The success of our programs depends on the
many volunteers that donate hundreds of hours. If you are at least 16 years
old, like to work with plants and children and have an interest in our mission,
there are many volunteer opportunities that can be tailored to meet your
interests and schedule. There are volunteer positions in education, gardening, outreach, storytelling, special events, model railroading and retail opportunities in Ginkgo’s Gift Shop. If you like butterflies, ask for our special Butterfly Docent Training Program.
Volunteer benefits include free admission, an hour recognition certificate, an annual celebration and discounts in Ginkgo's Gift Shop. People who volunteer for four hours at our exhibit at the Philadelphia Flower Show get free admission to the Show.
