Treehouse
Bring a pair of binoculars with you if you
plan to visit the Tree House. I saw people using their binoculars to watch
butterflies, hawks, and migratory birds and butterflies and to get a closer
look at the Philadelphia skyline. You can
climb the steps, or walk up the ramp to enter the Tree House for a bird's
eye view of the entire Garden. It overlooks the Red Oak Run. In
the Tree House, I learned that kids build tree houses to play in, but many
animals build "tree" home to live in. A sign in the Garden says
that one tree can be home to 500 animals and insects. That is only one of
the many reasons why trees are so important to our environment.
David Robinson from NJ built this beautiful Tree
House.
