2018 School Festivals

School Festivals are designed for grades 3-6 and are aligned to NJ Standards.  The cost of $10 per student includes admission, three hands-on activities, and 2 tickets to ride the carousel or train.  One adult is admitted free for every 5 students.  (Additional adults $5.50pp).  Festivals are from 10:00am—1:30pm.  Reservations and a deposit are required and are not refundable.  To reserve a group spot, fill in the form to the left.

STEM  ( Thursday, April 19, 2018).  Lessons include: Wetland Habitats, Plant Parts and Functions, Butterfly Adaptations.

FIT AND FUN (Thursday, May 3, 2018)  Learn about what is takes to be healthy.  Lessons include:  Rainbow on My Plate, Growing up Healthy and Let's Move It!

BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES and BIRDS,  (Thursday, May 10, 2018) -Take flight with monarchs while learning about butterfly migration, life cycles. Visit with the butterflies in the Butterfly House.

WORLD OF WATER (Thursday, May 24, 2018) - Follow a water droplet through different states of matter in the water cycle, explore the best way to conserve one of our planet's most precious resources, define a watershed and identify which one you live in!

GREEN AND SUSTAINABLE (Thursday, May 31, 2018) - Lessons include Garbage to Garden, Water Conservation and Learning from the Lorax.
