2016 School Festivals

School Festivals are designed for grades 3-6 and are aligned to NJ Standards.  The cost of $10 per student includes admission, three hands-on activities, and 2 tickets to ride the carousel or train.  One adult is admitted free for every 5 students.  (Additional adults $5.50pp).  Festivals are from 10:00am—1:30pm.  Reservations and a deposit are required and are not refundable.  To reserve a group spot, fill in the form to the left.

EARTH & ARBOR DAY (Thursday, April 21, 2016) -Learn about conservation! Students will make recycled paper, explore water pollution, learn about healthy soil, and how to make a compost bin.

BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES, BIRDS, & CINCO DE MAYO (Thursday, May 5, 2016) -Take flight with monarchs while learning about butterfly migration, explore plants that attract butterflies and birds to your garden (and take a plant home with you!), learn about birds and their adaptations, and talk about the importance of butterflies in Mexican culture.

WONDROUS WATER (Thursday, June 2, 2016) - Follow a water droplet through different states of matter in the water cycle, explore the best way to conserve one of our planet's most precious resources, define a watershed and identify which one you live in!
