Green isn’t just a color! Come explore the Children’s Garden and learn about what it really means to be Green. Students will learn about carbon footprints and what effects them, understand the meaning of Dr. Seuss’ “Lorax”, examine conservation activities that you can do in your own backyard, and discover the art of “guerrilla gardening” by making a seed ball to help beautify an ugly spot in their town.
School Festivals are designed for grades 3-6 and are aligned to NJ Standards. The cost of $9 per student includes admission, four hands-on activities, a student passport and 2 tickets to ride the carousel or train. One adult is admitted free for every 5 students. Additional adults $5.50 per person. School Festivals are held from 9:30am to 1:30pm.
