Faeries & Wizards Festival (Saturday)

Celebrate these magical creatures with games, crafts and more. Children will make their own wizard hat or fairy wings. Decorate magic wands and build mystical fairy gardens to take home.  Come to the Garden dressed in your favorite Faerie or Wizard Costume and receive a free ride ticket! Dance the afternoon away during our Fairy and Wizard themed live musical performances. Face painting available on site for an additional fee.

SAVE THE DATE for the Camden Children's Garden First Annual Fall Harvest & Wine Festival. Taste over 15 wines from Monroeville Vineyard & Winery, enjoy live music, sample hors d'oeuvres showcasing seasonal ingredients from local eateries, and browse hand-made crafts all while taking in the fall scenery at the Garden. For guests 21+ only.

Camden Children’s Garden’s salute to Autumn and our mascot Mum Bear with pumpkin crafts, a pumpkin story and pumpkin activities, all set in the blazing colors of the Garden’s beautiful chrysanthemums.

For a small fee, you can purchase and paint a pumpkin to take home (while supplies last).

Sprouts & Seedlings: Howlin' Halloween

Have a fa-BOO-lous time celebrating Halloween at little early at the Camden Children’s Garden. Come dressed in costume and read not-so-scary stories, perform mad scientist
experiments, make a witch hat, and decorate your very own trick-or-treat bag.

The class includes a snack and admission to the garden following the end of the class.

Members: $10 per class

Non-Members: $12 per class

Brownie Quest Home Science Girl Scout Festival (Saturday)

Explore your skills as a scientist through experiments, combining common foods then observe uncommon reactions. Participants will engage creative science activities.

Reservations are required. Cost is $12.00 per Girl Scout (includes 2 ride tokens and one fun patch)

Come in costume and have howling good time. Take a Haunted Train Ride; encounter characters throughout the garden, meet the bumbling burglars and have your fortune told. Celebrate the Mexican tradition of “Día de los Muertos”. Trick or Treat during the Garden Costume Parade. Meet creepy crawler creatures up close when The Bug Lady pays us a spooktacular visit from 1PM-3PM. Children receive a free ride ticket if they come dressed in their Halloween costume! Face painting available on site for an additional fee.

Pay What You Wish Day

Pay what you wish for admission on Sunday, November 2nd at the Camden Children’s Garden. All proceeds go to benefit the Garden’s many community and educational programs. Activities will run from 12PM-4PM and are sponsored by the District Council Collaborative Board.

As the days get shorter and the temperature gets cooler, our animal and insect friends are preparing for the winter season. Learn about hibernation and migration, discover why leaves fall off trees, and try your hand at collecting acorns to store for the winter!

Ring in the most wonderful time of the year at the Camden Children’s Garden! Enjoy carolers, make holiday crafts, and sip hot chocolate from the Farm Stand. Welcome Santa to the Garden along with Mum Bear and bring your camera for pictures in the tree house.
