FREE Field Trips this Fall!
From September 2014-November 2014, the Camden Children’s Garden will offer free field trips to Abbott District schools in the Delaware Valley Watershed when they register up to 200 3rd and/or 4th grade students for our “Operation H20: Water Conservation” School Festivals. Camden Children’s Garden will cover the admission cost for all students, plus the cost for transportation. Festivals are available on Tuesdays this fall from 9:30AM-1:30PM and all lessons align with both state and Next Generation Science standards. Pre-registration is required. Welcome to the Camden Children's Garden
The Camden Children's Garden is designed for children and families. It is a special place to explore and discover the natural world. The four-acre garden provides horticultural experiences for creative and imaginative play.
The Garden is located across the Delaware River from Philadelphia and adjacent to the Adventure Aquarium, Susquehanna Bank Center, Battleship New Jersey and Riversharks Baseball. The Children's Garden is easily accessible by the RiverLink Ferry from Penn's Landing, the PATCO High Speedline, or the River Line train.
Admission is $6 per person and free for children two and younger. Admission at Aquarium/Garden Gate $4.00 per person.
Our hours are seasonal. The Camden Children's Garden is open for admissions from 10am to 4pm on the following days:
April through December* - Friday, Saturday & Sunday
July and August - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
January through March - Closed
*Group Reservations can be made in advance for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays in the months of April through December.
